STEM Boot Camp for Teachers @VCSU

A partnership “stemming” from relationships of universities in the North Dakota STEM Network is bringing an amazing opportunity to the teachers in your school district to learn more about STEM and 21st Century Learning.

Mayville State University’s STEM program has created a 3-day STEM Boot Camp that has generated momentum for STEM and 21st Century Skills in the Northeastern part of North Dakota.  Several teachers from West Fargo’s STEM Center Middle School serve as the instructors for this opportunity, providing participants with an introduction to STEM concepts, instruction on how to design STEM lessons, help in the creation of STEM related projects and project-based learning, and the real-life application STEM concepts and 21st Century Learning.  It is an opportunity your teachers will not want to miss!

This STEM Boot Camp is “going on the road” and will be in your backyard this summer!  Mayville State University’s STEM Boot Camp will be on the campus of Valley City State University from July 10-12, 2013.  The cost to register is $150, and this includes a graduate credit for the experience.  Scholarships are available, and if interested in them, teachers should contact david.demuth@vcsu.edu .

To register, visit www.vcsu.edu/extend/ using registration code STEM ED 700 #9387
